This free, online workshop will provide students with a better understanding of the requirements, methods, and resources available to enable a cost effective cross connection control program for small and large public water supply systems. The session will cover updates and basic elements that all public water system professionals should be aware of relating to backflow prevention and cross connection hazards. Topics covered include the fundamentals of backflow, backflow prevention devices and assemblies, regulations and codes, cross connection surveying/assessments, cross connection best practices, etc.
