This training is designed to provide operators with a greater understanding of mechanical maintenance and the effect it has on process operations. The course will identify how maintenance activities directly affect process control and the effects that poor maintenance can have on the ability to properly treat wastewater and drinking water. During the course, the class will discuss common tools and equipment that are utilized in effective equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to help identify items that should be in every operator’s tool kit. The class will also cover predictive maintenance technology and its applications to water and wastewater treatment equipment; including thermography, vibration analysis, and proper lubrication.
