Details:
The purpose of NAWMA meetings is to provide a forum to discuss evolving drinking water regulations, technologies, and issues facing tribal water utilities. These meetings support local tribal water operators by providing relevant changing information and contact hours needed to maintain drinking water certification as well as allow for networking with regional and local operators. NAWMA sessions occur on a minimum quarterly basis throughout the year and are coordinated by local RCAC technical assistance providers. Topics to be covered include lead and copper, distribution flushing and developing a safety program as well as a roundtable discussion. Bear River Casino Hotel, 11 Bear Paws Way, has lodging available. Call (707) 733-9644 for reservations.
