The AL/MS Water Joint Annual Conference will occur from Sunday, April 2, to Wednesday, April 5, 2023. Technical sessions begin on Monday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with sessions on wastewater treatment (decentralized systems), collection systems, data management, advanced metering, water treatment, utility management, wastewater treatment (in black belt and underserved areas), asset management and distribution systems. Sessions will then continue on Tuesday from 8:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., with wastewater treatment (research papers), SCADA and cybersecurity, laboratory testing, coating systems, stormwater, water loss, water service, wastewater treatment and pump stations, piping systems, instrumentation and technology solutions and lead and copper rule. Sessions then end on Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., with regulatory updates. Cost for Full Conference: $450 for AWWA or WEF members | $550 for non-members.
