Details: The purpose of NAWMA meetings is to provide a forum to discuss evolving drinking water regulations, technologies, and issues facing tribal water utilities. These meetings support local tribal water operators by providing relevant changing information and contact hours needed to maintain drinking water certification as well as allow for networking with regional and local operators. NAWMA sessions occur on a minimum quarterly basis throughout the year and are coordinated by local RCAC technical assistance providers.
The agenda includes a roundtable discussion, wildfires and benzene in drinking water, new proposed SWRCB testing schedule, UIC tips for FOG, and a tour of the Fortuna Water Treatment Plant.
Registration is free. Four (4) DW Contact Hours will be awarded. Tribal Personnel Only!
