Announcing the gathering of the Native American Water Master’s Association on March 7th, 2018 at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino Lemoore, California. The purpose of these meetings is to provide a forum to discuss evolving drinking water and wastewater technologies, regulations, safety, and issues facing tribal water and wastewater utilities as well as tribal environmental departments. The meetings also supports local tribal water and wastewater operators by providing contact hours needed to maintain drinking water certification. Additionally the meetings will allow for networking with local operators and environmental staff. NAWMA sessions will be planned for throughout the upcoming year and coordinated by local RCAC technical assistance providers. Topics include: roundtable open discussion, compliance check-ups, rtcr operational review, fire hydrant operation and maintenance, vacuum truck operations, fats, oils & grease programs (FOG) and more. Cost: Free. Tribal Operators Only!
