Announcing the gathering of the Native American Water Master’s Association on
Wednesday 8, 2017 at Moenkopi Legacy Inn & Suites. EPA Region 9 will be sponsoring this NAWMA meeting with the purpose of providing a forum to discuss evolving drinking water and wastewater technologies, regulations, and issues facing tribal water and wastewater utilities as well as tribal environmental departments. The meetings also supports local tribal water and wastewater operators by providing contact hours needed to maintain drinking water certification. Additionally the
meetings will allow for networking with local operators and environmental staff. Topics will include: RTCR Review, Level 1/2 Assessment review, Lead and Copper Rule Review, Disinfection/Dosage/Metering Pumps, Interpreting Lab Results/Reports, IHS Update, Tribal Roundtable. 6.0 Professional Development Hours will be
awarded for participation. Cost: Free. Tribal Operators Only!
