Details:
Announcing the gathering of the Native American Water Master’s Association on Tuesday February 28, 2017 at The Bluewater Casino Resort. Fort Mohave Tribal Utility Authority and EPA Region 9 will be sponsoring this NAWMA meeting with the purpose of providing a forum to discuss evolving drinking water and wastewater technologies, regulations, and issues facing tribal water and wastewater utilities as well as tribal environmental departments. The meetings also supports local tribal water and wastewater operators by providing contact hours needed to maintain drinking water certification. Topics will include: Lab Results Demystified, Disinfection Math, Tank and Well disinfection, rTCR Review, Lead and Copper Review, EPA Update and Tribal Roundtable. 6.0 Professional Development Hours will be awarded for participation. Cost: Free.
